The claim of a complete paperless Vidhan Sabha by the Vidhan Sabha secretariat fell flat on its face on the first day of the monsoon session on Tuesday when the members were provided bundles of papers on the proceedings of the day.
The Congress MLAs used the papers provided to them to register their protest in the house. They made missiles from the papers and tried to throw them towards the chair during the protest.
Standing at the well of the house some of the Congress members were seen banging the bundles of paper provided to them on the table of the officiating secretary of Vidhan Sabha. They also tore the papers to pieces which lay strewn on the floor of the house.
