The Uttarakhand Congress has blamed the Union government for creating a hoax of Covid-19 pandemic to obstruct the Bharat Jodo Yatra of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. The media in charge of Uttarakhand Congress, Rajiv Mehrishi claimed that the BJP government is intimidated by the “huge public response” being elicited by the Bharat Jodo Yatra. He said that the people of India are being misguided by showing the forged videos of China. Mehrishi alleged that a conspiracy is being hatched to create a scare in public, for looting the public money and rendering the youth and poor unemployed. He said that this is for the third time when the BJP government has started wailing about Covid-19 after the end of the elections in the States. He said that the government should answer the questions of people as to what has it done with the money received from the industrial houses, government employees and foreign donations in the PM CARES fund during the first wave of Covid before taking any step in the name of the fourth wave of the Covid-19.
