The Nainital district magistrate, Vandana Singh chaired a review meeting regarding ongoing preparations for the Shri Maa Nanda Devi Mahotsav with the officers of the district administration and municipal council. The members of Shri Ram Sevak Sabha which organises the festival were also present. During the meeting, the calendar of Shri Nanda Devi Mahotsav 2025 was also released by the DM.
While the DM directed all the departments to ensure that the festival is organised in a manner commensurate with its religious and regional importance, the Nagar Palika Parishad president, Saraswati Khetwal said that this year the fair- based on the theme of Clean Nainital- would be organised in an attractive manner.
