NDUSSL passes Rs 277.84 crore budget in 75th AGM

A budget of Rs 277.84 crore was unanimously passed for 2025-26 during the 75th annual general meeting and diamond jubilee function of the Nainital Dugdh Utpadak Sahkari Sangh Limited (NDUSSL) held on Saturday.Position holder Suresh Bhatt, Haldwani mayor Gajraj Singh Bisht, NDUSSL chairman Mukesh Bora and general manager Anurag Sharma, among others, were also present on the occasion.
Bora said that the NDUSSL has been reaching new heights at a consistent rate. Under the directions of chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Dairy Development minister Saurabh Bahuguna, a modern dairy processing plant is being set up in Lalkuan, where production is expected to start in the near future. He said that a decision had been taken to provide an additional Rs two per litre in the interests of milk producers which will bring about a considerable increase in the income of farmers. Various dairy producers and committees were also felicitated on the occasion. The Gokul Shri award was presented to Kripal Singh of Lalpur Basitila committee for supplying 68,526 litres of milk contributing worth more than Rs 26 lakh to NDUSSL. Ganga Devi was felicitated in the women’s category (plains) along with Himani Bisht and Deepa Devi. From the mountainous region, Meena Devi, Pushka Devi and Tulsi Devi were felicitated for their commendable contributions.
