Spiritual leader Mata Amritanandamayi Devi (Amma) participated in the consecration of the sacred Sri Ram Raksha Yantra at the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple today, marking a significant spiritual milestone coinciding with Chaitra Navratri and the Hindu New Year.

Arriving in Ayodhya with a delegation of nearly 1,200 devotees and monastics, Amma’s presence added a profound spiritual dimension to the ceremony, which witnessed participation from national leadership, saints, and spiritual practitioners from across the country.

Describing the Ram Temple as a “new sunrise for Sanatana Dharma,” Amma highlighted that the installation of the Ram Raksha Yantra is not merely a ritual act but a reminder of the deeper knowledge, balance, and inner strength that individuals must cultivate in today’s rapidly changing world.

She emphasised that while humanity has made extraordinary material progress, it faces a growing crisis of values, particularly among the youth. Amma called for renewed focus on samskara (spiritual culture), stressing that families and educational institutions must play a critical role in nurturing character, compassion, and clarity from an early age.

Amma also underscored the relevance of Lord Ram’s life as an eternal model of dharma, resilience, and righteous action, noting that in times of moral uncertainty, the teachings of the Ramayana offer guidance, stability, and purpose.

Her message resonated strongly with the broader significance of the ceremony—positioning the Ram Raksha Yantra as a symbol not only of protection, but of inner awakening and collective consciousness.
