Centre issues emergency helplines for Indians stranded in W Asia

In view of the escalating West Asia conflict, the Government of India has issued emergency contact numbers and social media links to help Indians stranded in the region. Officials said the step has been taken to ensure the safety of Indian citizens currently in Iran and other West Asian countries.
As per information released by the Centre, Indians, stuck in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, can contact their respective Indian embassies through emergency phone numbers, WhatsApp, email and official social media accounts. These platforms have been made available so that people can seek immediate help if required.
Officials said the contact details include embassy websites, helpline numbers and email addresses.
